A Gatsby Gala // JBOYS Charity Ball 2018

It had come around once again and I was thrilled to be able to donate my time once more. The JBOYS annual charity gala ball was on again and this time it was Gatsby themed. I thought last year Barb(JBOYS Founder) and the small town of Biloela went all out, this year was next level. It was like stepping back in time, to night of feathers, sequins and suspenders. There unity of the community was nothing short of inspiring.

This year the food was take to the next level as well, bringing on board celebrity chefs, Matt Golinski and Glen Barratt. Serving two alternatives for all three courses. For entree they served pork belly and prawn cocktail, mains was either beef Or chicken, and to finish the night for desert there was cream filled choux and pavlova.

As with everything else, the JBOYS team really took it to the next level with their merch too. Having more variety as well as gala ball exclusive designs. You can’t shop their standard merch range here.
